The strangeness is going to come
So you wrap it up in the familiar
Within the small details of an average life
Emerges a picture
Someone afraid to start
Afraid to try
Afraid to fail
Within the small details of an average life
The story remains incomplete
Dreams once held form and substance
Now lay naked on the ground
Within a small life of average detail
The picture is complete
I have hidden myself away from trouble
And now I’ve lost the key
